Greece is one of our favourite go-to destinations and we just love tucking into a Gyro or Gyros after a few Mythos beers. Most traditionally pork or chicken, the meat is cooked on a vertical rotisserie which has been marinated in a delicious combination of herbs and spices. It is then carved off into a soft warm pita bread, then rolled up with tzatziki, tomato, onion and a few chips seasoned with extra gyros seasoning.
This Gyros seasoning contains all the classic spices and a few extra ingredients to bring it to the next level! You don’t have to go to all the effort of cooking on a rotisserie. This seasoning works just as well sprinkled over a bashed out chicken breast and pan fried in a little oil. You can also dust it over halloumi, salads, on grilled pork chops, use as a seasoning for roast chicken or souvlaki kebabs.
